 | Scott Herber Head Coach Scott Herber was born and raised in Chicago, IL. He played as goaltender varsity hockey for Notre Dame High School. His career was cut short due to injuries. Previous to Florida Tech, Coach Herber was the head coach of Division II Kutztown University from 1989-1993, assistant coach for Gold Coast Ice Arena Bantams and goaltending instructor at Gold Coast Ice Arena from 1995-1997, and head coach of varsity ice hockey at University School in 1998-2000. He was one of the four original founders of the Florida Scholastic Hockey Conference which has now grown to over 20 high school teams in South Florida alone. Coach Herber, a former Florida Tech doctoral student, holds two Master degrees, works in the area of environmental consulting, and is an Adjunct Professor at BCC. Herber joined the Florida Tech hockey program in October 2007 and has been pro-active about bringing positive changes and advancements to the team, its players and the program. | | | We are currently recruiting for at least one additional assistant coach.
