Head Coach: Bret Thompson

Bret Thompson has been a key player in the success of the Space Coast Hurricanes Juniors Hockey Team and is being welcomed as FIT's new coach. Coach Thompson will be the head coach for the Florida Tech Panthers for the 2010-2011 season. Coach Thompson started his coaching at the college level with Williams College, RIT, and NASC before coming to Florida Tech. After playing college hockey for North Adams State, he went on to play professionally for the BP Flyers in Holland. Coach Thompson, a gold level coach with USA Hockey will be turning the team around with his focus on power skating, basic skills, and overall hockey knowledge. The FIT hockey team welcomes him and hopes to keep him on board for years to come.
